Returning to politics in 2001, Feleena started working for
Assemblymember Sarah Reyes, Chair of the Utilities & Commerce Committee. The best memory is the successful passage of AB 31.
AB 31* (Reyes-D) Central Valley Infrastructure Grant Program
Establishes, until January 1, 2007, the Central Valley Infrastructure Grant Program in the State Department of Housing and Community Development for the purpose of providing grants, beginning September 1, 2001, for qualifying projects to rural small cities in the counties of Fresno, Kings, Kern, Tulare, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin.
From 2005 to 2009 Feleena worked with Operation Clean Air. The project started out to address the many issues of poor air quality, but federal legislation and Proposition 1B refocused the issue to large diesel trucks.
OCA began the campaign to educate diesel owners and operators of the changing law while giving them enough time to comply.

For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.

Acting on this wise advice, Feleena helped raise money and attention for the Woodward Shakespeare Festival in 2006 and helped in the push for the Festival to have a permanent state in Woodward Park.
Between 2005 and 2007, Feleena wrote articles for the station that were combined to make a large newspaper insert for the Fresno Bee. The inserts were placed just before the rating book. Each time, viewership increased for KSEE 24.
Feleena returned to KSEE 24 as a full time employee to sell, produce and host the local cooking show Valley Delicious from 2013 to 2015.
Feleena's first job in the political realm came from State Senator Jim Costa in 1997. It was very unique offer. This was the first time the state legislature had not delivered an on time budget. Senator Costa welcomed Feleena aboard, but want' quite sure how she would paid. Fortunately, everything worked out with the payment and Feleena continued with Senator Costa until 1999.
Feleena served as the morning radio co-host with Bruce Campbell on KJWL 99.3 from 2007 to 2013.
Most people don't know that Feleena never planned on a radio career. While trying to schedule an interview for a client, Bruce thought Feleena had an interesting voice and invited her in for an interview. That led to six wonderful years of a radio partnership.

In XXXX, Roman Candle Communication helped build community support and deliver a 5-4 vote to build the Super Walmart located at 1185 Herndon Avenue, Clovis.
Over the past decade, Feleena helped to raise money for Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims re-election campaign.
The most memorable event was in 2013 when the committee put together a "This is Your Life" event for the Sheriff.
The Resource Management Coalition was Feleena's first contract. THE RMC joined with the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors to fight Senator Sher and his bill on non-point source discharge.
